The Devil Wears Prada (2006)

A perfect movie for a Saturday evening, elegant and stylish for all in the family. It has glamour and humor both in the right quantity. A well made comedy with drama, the movie is about the fashion world, its fakeness and how everyone in the trade is nothing but just a lie. A perfect starcast lead by Meryl Streep. She is simply superb and looks stunning as The Boss. She rightly deserved the Oscar nomination she got for this role. Anne as her secretary also looks equally gorgeous when she wears the fashionable clothes. The climax is highly enjoyable and well written. Young girls with an urge to make it big would just love this movie. The background music sets the required mood and Madonna’s song is perfectly used for the sequences. A must watch as an entertaining light hearted movie with fashion as its background.
Directed By David Frankel
Starring : Meryl Streep & Anne Hathaway
