Trying an experimental kind of movie in the late fifties proves that how intelligently RK Banner worked at that time. It’s a Raj Kapoor production movie and showcases a simple story of a child’s journey from his village to the town in order to meet Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. How he completes his journey and gets his wishes fulfilled by Pandit Nehru is what the film is all about. It captures human emotions and expectations beautifully and is capable of making you cry for the child. A must watch for the students of cinema and for the people who simply love this medium of expressions.
