Mr. & Mrs. Iyer (2002)

Life is unexpected and the whole beauty lies in this truth. That’s the main theme of this well made movie by Aparna Sen featuring her own daughter Konkona Sen Sharma with Rahul Bose (who is a director himself). Its about how life sometimes becomes beautiful due to unseen circumstances but we still have to control ourselves for not crossing the limits. Both Rahul & Konkona get together for some days due to the riots in the region and they have to pose themselves as a married couple. The ease with which they have enacted their roles is commendable. Worth mentioning is a short appearance by Bhisham Sahni, the writer of famous novel & serial ‘Tamas”. Don’t miss it as its worth your time.
Directed By Aparna Sen
Starring : Konkona Sen Sharma & Rahul Bose
Music By Zakir Hussain
