Dhamaal

“Dhamaal” has a list of inspired movies given below :

It is loosely based on “Its A Mad Mad Mad World” where many groups are heading towards a hidden money bank.

The opening scene of Ritesh Deshmukh is a straight lift from Atkin Rowinson’s (Mr. Bean), “Johny English” in which he is a detective too. The original movie too used this sequence as the teaser trailer of their film.

The opening sequence of Javed Jaffery in Dhamaal, when he gets his hand stuck in the pocket of another person, is an “as it is” copy from one of the episodes of famous T.V. Serial “Mr. Bean”.

One sequence where all four boys are trying to cross the bridge with car is taken from movie “Road Trip”.

And the climax where all the money has to be given as Charity accidently on a stage show is a ripped from the climax of “Rat Race” straight away.

Also, the pizza scene is a lift from “Dude, where’s my car?”

    Sad, really.
