Amitabh’s Original "Don" – Main Plot was inspired…

The Original “DON” (1978) starring Amitabh Bachhan, Zeenat Aman and Pran also had its inspirational Source. The main plot of plotting the double was taken from “Double Man” (1967). Chek out at : http://imdb.com/title/tt0061594/
But it was brillianlty adapted and the movie is surely one of most fast paced thriller movie ever filmed. One more interesting fact is associated with the hit song “Khaike Paan Banaras Wala” in the movie.
This song was a kind of “Item Number” and was added much later after completion of the film.
It was added to slow down the pace of the film as it was looking too fast and action packed.
And what an impact the song had on the viewers. Truly a remarkable film with inspiration used in the most creative manner.
