After ‘Hotel Rwanda” it’s the second most powerful film I have seen on the war between the people and the government in Africa. This one is more about the war between the Black Africans and the White people. And it is based on a true story. Its showcases the political games which play with the lives of the people following truth. It’s a powerful story of a newspaper editor who makes friends with a revolutionary and then faces the consequences for it. It gives an idea of how the black revolutionaries were treated at that time by the government and brings out the ugly faces of the people behind it. Strongly Recommended for intense movie lovers.
Directed By Richard Attenborough
Starring : Denzel Washington & Kevin Kline
